My name is Amy and as of 2023, I now own the salon. I went into hairdressing in 2006 and became part of the Scruples team in 2008.
I completed my hairdressing level III and assessors award at Scruples and since then worked hard to become a manager.
I love hairdressing and have also recently found a passion for the Mii makeup. This enables me to make our customers feel great by giving them a complete makeover.
Yvonne Bone

Hello my name is Yvonne, I came to Scruples in 1985 and originally rented a room above the hairdressing salon for beauty therapy.
My business went from strength to strength and within two years I rented the entire first floor and needed to take on other therapists. During this time I also taught Aromatherapy at Aylesbury College and achieved an Adult Teaching Certificate. In November 1997, when my Landlord retired, I took over the hairdressing business.
I love working with the team and our customers but also enjoy seeing the salon at the forefront of the hair and beauty industry through a commitment to ongoing training. I have recently sold the business, but remain an integral part of the team.
Ashley Miah-Stevens
Style Director
Ashley has over 19 years’ of hairdressing experience. His career started in the heart of London with Toni and Guy, working alongside some of the biggest names in hairdressing, such as Toni Mascolo himself.
Working with celebrities at London Fashion Week inspired him to be creative. This experience has allowed him to help his clients explore the latest trends, try new styles, and achieve the best after-care.
He loves doing all types of cutting and styling : Men’s and Women’s, Blow Drys, Hollywood Waves, Bridal Hair and much more…
Sajia Ghousi
Style Director
My name is Sajia, I have 9 years’ hairdressing experience and have completed NVQ Levels II and III.
I previously worked in salons in London and High Wycombe before joining Scruples in January 2022. I have a wide range of skills and am very experienced in Balayage, cutting, colouring and hair up as well as make up.
I look forward to meeting you and making you look and feel fabulous.
Debbie Fenn
Hair Stylist
My name is Debbie, I have been with Scruples since 2001.
I work on Mondays and Tuesdays and generally work with the more mature clients, specializing in perming, setting and blow drying.
Many of my clients have become good friends and I look forward to seeing them and I feel they leave the salon feeling happy and uplifted after their appointments.

My name is Becca, I have level 2 and 3 in beauty therapy also level 3 in complementary therapies and have been a qualified therapist since 2011.
I am really thrilled to be part of the team here at Scruples. I love my job and enjoy making people look and feel great.
I really enjoy doing massage, especially loosening up knots and reducing tension in the muscles. I also like helping people relax through reflexology.

Hi. My name is Amanda and I have been part of the Scruples team since 2002.
I completed my level ll and lll NVQ hairdresser qualifications in 2004 but over the years I have worked in many roles within the team.
I now have the responsibility of salon manager but also love working on the shop floor and on reception. I look forward to assisting you and helping with any questions you have regarding our services and products.

Hi. My name is Katie and I joined Scruples in December 2021 to follow my dreams of becoming a hairdresser.
I have always wanted to be a hairdresser from a young age and used to style my mum and sister’s hair.
I am working towards my NVQ Level II qualification and am looking forward to learning more.
